Danube Gorge
- The narrow section of the Danube between the Weltenburg monastery
and Kelheim is a nature reserve and the first National Nature
Monument in Bavaria - The ships depart from early May to mid-October, every 30, 45 or 60
minutes, depending on the season - The journey from Kelheim to Weltenburg takes 45 minutes and 20
minutes back - Trips on the river Altmühl are also starting in Kelheim

Hall of Liberation
- Imposing rotunda built by order of King Ludwig I to commemorate the victories against Napoleon
- One of the most important neoclassical monuments of the 19th century in Germany

Prunn Castle
- Impressive medieval castle, situated high on a limestone cliff above the Altmühl Valley
- The best-preserved feudal castle in Bavaria dates from around 1.200
- The fourth oldest complete manuscript of the Nibelungenlied, the most famous Middle High German heroic epic, was found here

Guest house of the Weltenburg Monastery
- The monastery has existed for about 1400 years
- It is located at the beginning of the Danube Gorge, the first national natural monument in Bavaria
