  • Passau is also called „The Three-River-City“, because of the confluence of the rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz 
  • Discover the historic old town of Passau by ship from different rivers on the „Three-Rivers-City-Tour“, 45 minutes, departing every 30 minutes depending on the season 
  • Further boat trips to neighboring Austria, e.g. to the Englhartszell monastery or to Linz are also possible

Hotel Wilder Mann

 

  • The Hotel Wilder Mann in the center of Passau forms a building complex with the Glass Museum Passau 
  • Its collection of 30.000 glasses offers the world‘s largest collection of European crystal 
  • In the hotel, guests can sleep in a bed that Empress Sissi has already slept in, as well as in the wedding bed of King Ludwig II. 
  • After completing a major renovation, the hotel was reopened in 1985 in presence of Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon.
